Dario Pinelli & The Italian Gypsy Jazz Trio; three of the most highly regarded musicians, world wide, in the genre of 'jazz manouche': The band consists of virtuoso Dario Pinelli as the featured guitarist, a world renowned virtuoso, Walter Clerici on vocals and rhythm guitar who is also director of the Hot Club of Copenhagen and a skilled Italian Swing singer, and Renato Gattone on the double bass, who is also an Italian TV personality who has accompanied many Italian Swing musicians including Romano Mussolini and Renzo Arbore. The repertoire presented by Dario Pinelli Italian Gypsy Jazz Trio ranges from the Django Reinhardt classics to the French Waltz Musette and1940's post-war Italian swing. Their performances display bombastic musical virtuosity as well as a light-hearted comraderie and joyous sense of showmanship.
