Richie Rich has done it all and then some. Growing up in Boston, he spent his younger years studying piano at the New England Conservatory, but it didn't take long before his early influences, Otis Redding and Duke Ellington, began to shape his sound. Richie's music has taken him all over the world and he has shared the stage with some of the funkiest musicians on the planet, including Rick James, Stanley Clarke, James Brown, and perhaps his biggest influence George Clinton, with whom he performed with for The Apollo Theater's 75th Anniversary. Nowadays, Richie Rich & 24 Karat Funk continue to deliver their funk to their fans and keep them grooving.
